Terms of Service

TBuddy is a verified neighbourhood platform where members post tasks for short, legal in-person help and platonic companionship, share posts and stories in a feed, showcase paid work in a personal portfolio, and list products in a local marketplace.

You must be 18 or older to use TBuddy. You agree not to use the platform — including tasks, posts, portfolio listings, product listings, comments or messages — for any sexual service, escorting, prostitution, hidden dating-for-pay, harassment, or illegal activity. Violations result in immediate ban and may be reported to authorities.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish: tasks, posts, stories, portfolio entries, product listings, reviews and messages. Content that infringes copyright, misleads other members, promotes illegal or restricted goods (weapons, drugs, tobacco, alcohol without licence, prescription medication, counterfeits, wildlife, gambling, adult content), or otherwise breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines will be removed and may result in loss of access.

TBuddy does not hold, transfer or escrow money between users for tasks, product sales or portfolio bookings. Prices shown on those listings are what the two members settle in person or off-platform, and TBuddy is not a party to that exchange. The one exception is Social Promotions, where the advertiser's payout to a creator is held in wallet escrow and released after delivery — see the Advertising Policy.

The TBuddy Wallet is a stored-value ledger denominated in your local currency, used solely to pay for services TBuddy provides (memberships, boosts, extra daily slots, ad budgets, expiry extensions, reschedules and paid promo applications). TBuddy is not a bank and the Wallet is not a bank account. Wallet balance is not transferable to any other user except via approved Refer & Earn credits and Social Promotion escrow flows, and cannot be redeemed for cash except through the Withdrawal process described in the Wallet Terms.

Advertising, Refer & Earn payouts, and Social Promotion escrow are subject to the Advertising Policy, Refer & Earn Terms, and Wallet Terms respectively, each incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You are responsible for your own safety. Meet in public, keep chats in-app, and report anything suspicious.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our sole discretion.
